The East Barricade Academy is located within the impenetrable exterior of the Jacinto Plateau, humanities sanctum from the oncoming Locust threat. Adam Fenix - The father of Marcus Fenix resided in the Academy. Adam Fenix's research into underground caverns and maps regarding the Locust tunnels were stored on a Geobot which was found after the squad pushed through the Locust threat in Act 4: The Long Road Home and returned to the Fenix estate.
